The Thomas Wilson Dorr Letters Project includes digital transcriptions of letters from the John Hay Library (Brown University), the James Fowler Simmons Papers at the Library of Congress, the John Brown Francis correspondence in the Henry A. L. Brown Deposit at the Rhode Island Historical Society, the Gilder Lehrman Institute, and the private collections of Richard Slaney and Russell J. DeSimone.

The letters were encoded by the Phillips Memorial Library + Commons Digital Projects & Metadata team including Deborah Angelo, Mark Caprio, Rachel Golub, Christiane Marie Landry, Megan Lessard, Stephen Mattos, Rebecca Maxfield, Marc Mestre, Hailie Posey, Elizabeth Tietjen, and Ray Stein.
